A Tray, A Dream, A Beginning

Every great journey begins with a challenge and ours started with a tray.

The story of Rubberplastech began when our Founder and CEO, Anas Nasser, encountered a recurring issue while fulfilling a large order of food service trays for a major airline catering provider in Dubai through his company, A to Z World Hospitality Supplies.

The trays imported and seemingly up to standard kept breaking during use. Despite replacing the entire order multiple times, the problem persisted. That’s when Anas, drawing on his early background as a mold maker, decided to investigate the root cause himself.

He discovered that the true issue wasn’t in the design, but in the poor quality of raw materials used by external manufacturers. Rather than accept subpar solutions, Anas took a bold step: to bring production in-house. He sourced premium materials,developed a custom mold, and began manufacturing locally ensuring unmatched quality and durability.

This experience not only solved the immediate problem but revealed a larger opportunity: the region lacked a specialized, quality-first manufacturer of premium reusable Polycarbonate and Polypropylene products for food and beverage preparation, storage, and service.

Inspired by this gap and aligned with the UAE’s visionary “Operation 300Bn” industrial strategy Rubberplastech was founded in 2022 and is headquartered in Dubai. The first tray symbolizes more than a product, it marks the beginning of our mission to serve industries across the globe, directly from the UAE.
